Chapter 5 Meeting After Action Keeping Our Members in the know!!!
At our meeting on Saturday May 19th, we accomplished a lot of chapter business. For those that attended and those unable to, this is a brief summary of the meeting. We want to keep our family in the know!!!!!
What we did/discussed this month:

We had approximately 70 members attending
-
The minutes from the April meeting were passed with a couple of amendments
-
The chapter voted in 8 transfer members and welcomed several new members and guests. Welcome to all our new members and it is always great to see new members. We look forward to you becoming active in the chapter’s activities
-
Volunteers (LVAP):
-
LVAP registration forms were passed out
-
Cannot stress the importance of accounting for our LVAP hours
-
These hours are reported to Congress and the IRS to help keep our 501c status
-
All monthly LVAP hours are to be sent to Kevin Crozier (davalamo5@att.net).

Volunteer hours by Auxiliary members can, also, be included into the chapter monthly report

DAV National Convention:

The chapter nominated and approved the Delegates to the DAV National Convention in Reno Nevada

Johnny Harris’s son passed away
Roberto Almaraz is still having medical issues
Amanda Almaraz’ Grandma passed away
John Hubble was involved in a traffic accident
Joe Dugette’s son Edward is having medical issues
Roman Beltran is having back surgery
If you know of any chapter member under the weather, please let one of our chaplains/officers know so we may visit and check on them
